Security Service Tech

Employee duties:

  • Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and configures access control, security alarms, and closed circuit television systems
  • Responds to customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshoots and repairs as needed.
  • Completes necessary documentation as per the Service Delivery Policy.
  • Communicates with central dispatch on current work order status and receives updates on outstanding customer issues on a daily basis following the Service Delivery Policy.
  • Participates in after hours service program.
  • Assists on installation projects during non-utilized time.


  • Associate's degree in Electronics or related field. 1-3 years experience.
  • Working knowledge of card access systems, cctv , gate operators, intercom systems.
  • General knowledge of electronics, components, and construction.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a short period of time.
  • Completes necessary certification courses on internal and external products used.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for summarizing tasks performed with customer.
  • Advancement opportunities include Construction Engineering, Project Management and Integrated Projects.
